Is there a waiting list?

New members need to add their name to the club waiting list. Depending on your child’s age it will depend how long they will be on the waiting list for as we run sessions for a number of ages (8 weeks old all the way up to adults). Please click Join us at the top of the website or see the Interested in joining section to complete the form required to register yours or your child’s interest.

Can I stay to watch my child’s sessions?

We ask that parents and guardians stay on site for the first few sessions until the gymnast is settled and comfortable in the group, although we do not allow spectators in the sports hall we have a designated waiting area with a tuck shop and viewing of your child on the big screen.

When is payment due?

Your monthly fees are payable on the first (1st) of each month. Please ensure that payments are made promptly via standing order, as there will be an administration charge for those persistently paying after the 1st of the month.

Can I pay per session?

For new gymnasts, we allow the first month of training to be paid by cash at the beginning of each session on a pay as you go. However, if the gymnast would like to continue training after this point, we then ask that payments are made a month in advance of the sessions via standing order.

What are my payment options?

Our method of payment is standing order, cash is only accepted for our new starters in their first month and then from the beginning of the following month the subs are paid in advance. Bank details are given to all our new starters, however if you need another form please ask at reception.

Where can I purchase Academy clothing?

We have a range of Academy clothing available including leotards, T-shirts, hoodies, joggers and scrunchies. To see our full range of clothing and to make a purchase check out our E-Shop.

Is jewellery allowed?

No. All jewellery must be removed prior to the start of the session. We allow plasters to cover new piercings for the first six weeks after piercing, although they must be removed after this point in accordance with the British Gymnastics insurance policy. Due to legislative restrictions, we cannot provide or apply plasters, therefore gymnasts must arrive at each session with any necessary covering in place.

Will my child need a drink?

Yes. Please ensure that your child comes to their sessions with water or a soft drink in a sealable bottle with their names on as we have frequent drink breaks to avoid dehydration.

What does my child need to wear for their session?

Please dress your child in comfortable clothing such as a T-shirt and shorts or leggings. Clothing must be neither too loose nor too restrictive. Please be aware crop tops are not allowed due to health & safety reasons on apparatus. Long hair must be tied back. Gymnasts will have bare feet for their session. Do your sessions run during school holidays?

Yes. We are open from Monday to Saturday for fifty weeks of the year, closing only for two weeks at Christmas.
